Export-grade ostrich meal (exclusively sourced from Cape Karoo International, Oudtshoorn), as well as imported chicken and lamb meat meal, is used in the production of Omega products. The high protein and low ash content of these meat meals ensure high bioavailability and digestibility of ingested protein. The meat meals are free from growth hormone and antibiotic stimulants.
Formulated by experts
Omega was formulated by veterinarians and companion animal nutritionists, incorporating the latest science-based knowledge on canine nutrition. The food is manufactured according to a fixed formulation, making it possible to list detailed raw ingredients on the packaging in order of dry mass inclusion.
World Class Manufacturing
The production facility is veterinary approved for dry food exports and is HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) and FSSC 22000 certified. To comply with these certifications, regular independent external audits are conducted at the manufacturing facility.
Continuous laboratory testing
Internal and external laboratories perform continuous testing on raw ingredients, as well as on the final product. This ensures that Omega meets all the guaranteed nutritional values and is free from contaminants. The inclusion of Omega Oil+®
A special blend of fish and poultry oils in an optimal omega-6 to omega-3 ratio. Fish oils, salmon oil powder and green lipped muscle extract ensure high levels of EPA and DHA (important Omega-3 fatty acids) in all Omega products.
Omega products are low allergenic
Omega products are formulated without bovine or pork meat meal. The products are also free from artificial colourants and flavourants.
